My sister created this wonderful recipe for Gluten Free Bread. This is a million times better tasting than the GF bread you will find in the grocery store, and way more healthy. The recipe is on her website as well but I'm going to give it here. If anyone wants to check out some more healthy recipes for smoothies etc., her website is: http://www.authenticgardendelivers.com. If you live in Kamloops BC, you have the option to order this bread from her as well.
Preheat oven to 350 F or 375 F depending on your oven.
In a medium sized bowl Mix together:
1C almond milk
1/3-1/2C flax meal
2Tbs. apple cider vinegar
1Tbs. lemon juice
2Tbs. honey
1Tbs. agave nectar
Let sit for a few minutes so the flax meal has a chance to soak in the liquid.
In a larger bowl mix together:
2C almond flour
2C oat flour
1/3C tapioca powder or (arrowroot)
1tsp. baking soda
2Tbs. ground psyllium husk
1tsp. sea salt
Now add the liquid into the dry ingredients a little at a time. Mix well, then set on parchment paper and shape the dough into the form of a loaf. Make slice marks on top for easier bread slicing afterwards. Bake for approximately 45 minutes.

Thanks Rachele:)) I like your directions, way easier to understand than mine..lol
ReplyDeleteI have to make some bread today but I'm out of oat flour so I have to make it with rice flour, I don't like it as much as the oat.
