A few of weeks ago, I bought a homemade hula hoop from my niece, Natasha Braun. I have been using my hula hoop almost every day since. I hadn't realized all the incredible health benefits of hula hooping until I started it up. Apparently, hula hooping helps with back problems and improves flexibility and balance. You can get a full body workout with it, especially firming up your mid-section. Hula hooping is a low impact exercise that will help your stamina, joints, muscle strength, and cardiovascular endurance. I had stopped exercising again due to back, hip, shoulder, and neck problems (I had to heal). Honestly I did not think that I could hula hoop because I hadn't done it since I was about 10 years old, but, surprisingly, as soon as I spun it around my waist, my muscle memory kicked in, and I had no problem. I haven't been having the muscle stiffness and soreness in my lower back and hips since I began exercising with the hula hoop. I am just so pleased with it.
