Easy Homemade Carpet Freshener Recipe

Easy Homemade Carpet Freshener:

1 C. Baking Soda
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. ground cloves (optional)

Store in a glass jar with a perforated lid. 
Sprinkle all over carpet and leave on for 10-30 mins. 
or as long as you like.Vacuum as usual. Makes your
home smell like you've been baking all day.

    Very very informative, Rachele. I've saved the whole article in a file for future reference, including the comments. I put highlighted stars on the cautionary comments regarding the continual use of baking soda on your teeth and buying baking soda in the stores with aluminum content. Perhaps it would be good to have 2 boxes handy - one for personal use and another for household use.

      You definitely don't want to use baking soda on your teeth everyday. It will wear down the enamel. Once in a while is fine though. Glad you found the article informative. :)
